Experiences and Background We Look For (Required Skills)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- C++ and embedded development experience.
- Collaborative team experience (Scrum)
- Familiarity with Linux command line and operating system fundamentals.
- Capacity to work in a team with minimal supervision and agility to work multiple potentially disparate projects simultaneously
Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)
- RTOS environment experience
- Cross platform development.
- Knowledge of serial communication: SPI, UART, I2C.
- Knowledge of threading, synchronization, networking.
- Active security clearance.
- The salary for this role, depending on degree and experience, is $90,000 to $110,000 a year. However, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
