Role Overview
The Senior Software Engineer or Staff Engineer will work in the Surgical Robotics division.
The role focuses on designing and implementing guidance software for Meril's robotic surgery solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex software components and subsystems using object-oriented analysis and design.
- Draft design documentation and plan and conduct integration and component or unit tests.
- Support product architectural concepts, the basic framework, and transition from concept to maturity.
- Provide technical solutions to complex problems and follow design controls, SDLC, and quality procedures.
- Work in an Agile software development team and participate in planning and estimation.
- Protect company intellectual property and confidential data and support engineering and surgeon review labs.
Required Qualifications
- 3-7 years of industry experience in professional software development.
- Strong expertise in design patterns and C++ programming concepts.
- Knowledge of linear algebra, software design, development, and verification methodologies.
- Competency in algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, 3D visualization, 3D transformations, and computational geometry.
- Familiarity with compilers, interpreters, programming editors, debuggers, source code control, and defect management tools.
