Develop and support Android/Linux system drivers and kernel components for customer projects.
The work includes system performance, power, partitioning, crash localization, and peripheral debugging.
Responsibilities
- Develop Android/Linux system drivers at the HAL and kernel layers.
- Debug LCD, touchscreen, camera, audio, NFC, and other peripheral systems.
- Solve issues related to system partitioning, temperature rise, power optimization, crash and restart localization, and performance optimization.
- Perform kernel pruning and provide support and guidance to customer projects.
- Develop requirements, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with colleagues and hardware developers.
- Evaluate hardware interface and functional requirements with hardware developers.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the leader.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Three to five years of professional experience in Android/Linux system driver development and kernel engineering.
Location and Work Type
- The role is based in Pune, Maharashtra.
- The workplace mode is hybrid.
