Job Purpose
The Backend Software Engineer designs, develops, and maintains reliable, scalable, and secure backend services for the Geidea Store platform.
The role supports device management, application lifecycle management, software distribution, device telemetry, remote connectivity, authentication, and other platform capabilities.
The position collaborates with Android, Frontend, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, Product, and other engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and maintain microservices following established architecture, coding, security, and design standards.
- Design efficient data models and implement reliable communication using databases, Kafka, MQTT, and other messaging technologies.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, API security, and application-level controls while ensuring service reliability.
- Analyze application performance, troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
