Summary
Join Apple Services Engineering in London to build large-scale systems powering data products for services including the App Store, iCloud, Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple Arcade.
The Analytics and Data Engineering team develops data pipelines, real-time streaming applications, analytics platforms, and datasets at very large scale.
Role responsibilities
- Develop and deploy data pipelines and real-time streaming applications that support services and rapid business decisions.
- Build analytics platforms, datasets, and processes for product, marketing, analytics, and data science teams.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, product leads, and analytics leaders to deliver data engineering solutions.
- Build insights, metrics, and reliable distributed systems for customer experiences.
- Deliver well-tested, maintainable code while reasoning about complex failure modes.
Minimum qualifications
- Several years of experience designing and developing distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Java or Scala for big data processing.
- Experience with modern data-processing, streaming, and warehousing technologies.
- Experience with Flink, Kafka, and Iceberg or equivalent technologies.
