Team Context
The role is part of Cisco IT's Lifecycle Innovation and Optimization organization.
Customer and Partner Communities and Compensation Engineering delivers digital capabilities for seller and partner experiences.
Role Overview
The Software Engineer focuses on AI-driven development for the Partner Incentives and Metrics component.
The role supports reliable data, automation, feature behavior, and production delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and unit test AI-enabled features using Cisco LLM tools, SDLC Agents, and Copilot for Code.
- Investigate bugs, performance issues, data discrepancies, and security concerns.
- Define development best practices and scope through AI-driven processes.
- Maintain production AI solutions for reliability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with the Business Systems Analyst and Product Owner on prioritized outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree with 3 or more years of experience, or a master's degree with 2 or more years of experience, in Computer Science, AI/ML Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of GenAI, N-tier architecture, and Harness Engineering is required.
