Role Overview
Cisco's Industrial IoT Business Unit is developing management solutions for operational technology users and industrial networks.
The role focuses on simplifying network and security management while improving operational efficiency, safety, and security in industrial environments.
The engineer will work with devices, sensors, applications, and networking equipment to manage and analyze industrial operational data.
Team
The Device Management team consists of customer-focused engineers working on complex engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate AI-assisted coding tools and machine learning models into the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain scalable full-stack services using Java, Python, or Golang with React.js or Angular.
- Integrate software with IIoT device management platforms and industrial technology.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and sophisticated user experiences with cross-functional partners.
- Apply code reviews, unit testing, performance optimization, sprint planning, estimation, and continuous delivery practices.
