Role Purpose
Fujitsu is seeking an autonomous, results-driven AI Software Engineer to transform Fujitsu LAB research into production-ready minimum viable products.
The role covers the full software development lifecycle and delivery of scalable AI solutions across cloud infrastructure.
The engineer may also support non-AI products related to computing, security, and quantum software.
AI/ML and Application Development
- Transform research prototypes and algorithms into production-grade MVPs.
- Design, develop, deploy, evaluate, and optimize end-to-end AI/ML applications and services.
- Implement LLMs, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, and scalable training and inference pipelines.
- Build Python and C++ backend services, React and JavaScript interfaces, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
Cloud, Security, and Delivery
- Deploy cloud systems using AWS CloudFormation or similar tools and optimize resource use and cost.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based applications, orchestration, automated testing, monitoring, and QA automation.
- Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, secure APIs, vulnerability management, logging, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
