The Hybrid IT and Digital Workplace service line covers cybersecurity, digital workplace, cloud infrastructure, and program and project management services.

Role Overview

The Workplace Engineering and Architecture Services Manager is an execution-focused leadership role below the Head of Workplace Engineering and Architecture.

The role supports global delivery transformation through automation, follow-the-sun delivery, AI techniques, and standardized approaches across delivery centers.

The manager operationalizes globally defined strategies and governs delivery execution across multiple locations in a highly matrixed environment.

Role Details

  • The role is global and requires flexibility to attend remote meetings that may occur early or late in the working day.
  • The position is full time and reports to the Head of Workplace Engineering and Architecture.
  • The service area is M365 within the Hybrid IT and Digital Workplace service line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute global strategy and operating standards for the managed workplace engineering and architecture service area.
  • Manage distributed teams through matrixed structures and support team learning, inclusion, and performance.
  • Oversee service planning, execution, quality, efficiency, scalability, reporting, reviews, and change control.
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, Agile adoption, and DevOps capability development across delivery centers.
  • Identify growth and competitiveness opportunities, participate in local execution pre-sales, and support cost-model development.
  • Ensure regulatory, organizational policy, ESG, budget, and financial target compliance.
  • Monitor market trends affecting the managed service area and identify opportunities and challenges.

Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of IT industry experience and experience in a leadership or management role are required.
  • Significant managed services operations experience with standardized processes and delivery excellence is required.
  • Deep knowledge of Workplace Engineering and Architecture Services, including VDI, M365, and CSA, is required.
  • Operational knowledge should include process improvement, quality management, resource optimization, and performance metrics.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, profitability, client relationships, and global stakeholder management is required.
  • Experience leading multicultural and cross-functional teams across locations and working with international clients is required.
  • ITIL, project management, or Agile certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel and work across time zones is required.
