Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.

Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions supporting data-driven and AI-focused projects.

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional teams while contributing to planning and architectural decisions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Write clean and efficient code and implement back-end services and APIs.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize systems for scalability, performance, and security.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and planning sessions.
  • Explore technologies and best practices relevant to AI, data, and software engineering.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer science foundation covering algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in software development and at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or similar.
  • Hands-on back-end web development experience building and maintaining APIs, services, and integrations.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming and scalable, maintainable system design.
  • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and familiarity with Git.
  • Ability to collaborate, communicate clearly, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Exposure to AI, machine learning, or data engineering and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP are pluses.
