Overview

Solutyics seeks a JavaScript Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications, focusing on both front-end and back-end functionality. The role involves writing clean, efficient JavaScript code, implementing user interfaces, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications, focusing on both front-end and back-end functionality
  • Write clean, efficient JavaScript code
  • Implement user interfaces
  • Integrate APIs
  • Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to deliver reliable features
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and security
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Contribute to technical documentation
  • Stay current with modern JavaScript frameworks and best practices

Requirements

  • Strong JavaScript skills, with experience building and maintaining production web applications
  • Front-End Development experience, including modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries and responsive UI implementation
  • Back-End Web Development skills, with exposure to server-side JavaScript and API integration
  • Software Development fundamentals, including version control, testing, debugging, and clean code practices
  • Experience with Redux.js or similar state management libraries for complex front-end applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and basic security best practices is an advantage
