This entry‑level role introduces graduates to embedded security concepts and secure coding practices.
The engineer will support the development of security features while learning cryptographic principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing basic security features (e.g., encryption of data at rest, secure communication protocols) under senior engineer guidance.
- Learn to use tools for secure boot, code signing and vulnerability scanning.
- Help perform threat modelling and code reviews to understand common vulnerabilities and how to mitigate them.
- Document security features and maintain logs for compliance.
- Participate in security testing and debugging sessions to gain hands‑on experience.
Education And Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field.
- Coursework in operating systems, networks and introductory cybersecurity.
- Basic programming skills in C/C++ or Rust; familiarity with Linux.
