Software Development Manager, MCP/AI

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years leading or managing software engineers and at least seven years of industry software engineering experience.
• Proven track record delivering complex, production-grade systems and services.
• Experience building or leading teams that ship AI/ML-powered products, including LLM or agentic workflows or production ML.
• Working understanding of LLMs, agentic workflows, and AI system evaluation.
• Strong grounding in cloud-native architectures, APIs, CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile delivery.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience standing up or scaling a new team or technical competency.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol, agent orchestration frameworks, or composable tool and capability architectures.
• Experience with data platforms, ML infrastructure, evaluation pipelines, feature or data stores, model serving, AWS, or containers.
• Familiarity with 2D/3D visualization, CAD/BIM, rendering, or graphics technologies.
• Experience partnering with Applied AI or research teams to bring models into production.

Salary Transparency

• For Canada-based roles, the expected starting base salary is CAD 140,000–205,700.
• Offers depend on experience and geographic location and may exceed the stated range.
• Additional compensation may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and benefits.
