The Opportunity
The company is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to join its engineering team.
The SDET will help ensure application quality and reliability through comprehensive manual and automated testing.
The role requires strong software testing methodology knowledge and a focus on identifying and resolving issues before they reach customers.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Build automated test suites and a test automation framework from scratch.
- Perform exploratory, regression, usability, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders on requirements and product quality.
- Track defects, analyze results, report coverage and quality metrics, and improve testing processes.
- Research testing tools and technologies to improve testing capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
- 7 or more years of software quality assurance experience.
- Proven manual and automated testing experience with web applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools, including Postman or comparable tools.
