Role overview
Build and scale credit and lending products for Amazon Pay customers across India and Brazil.
Work on personal loan products in India and credit line offerings in Brazil within a fintech engineering team.
Deliver robust, scalable systems for real-world financial transactions at Amazon scale.
Key job responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for credit and lending products.
- Participate in scoping, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance across the full software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to code reviews, support operational excellence, and implement permanent fixes for root causes.
- Solve complex payment-system problems by clarifying ambiguous requirements and designing simple solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in India and Brazil on Personal Loans and credit line products.
- Document architecture, operations, and design decisions, and train new team members.
A day in the life
- Participate in design reviews for new credit features and evaluate technical approaches with engineers.
- Code full-stack solutions that process financial transactions securely.
- Monitor system health, respond to operational events, and implement reliability improvements.
