Job Description
Develop backend software and cross-platform applications that meet stakeholder requirements and customer expectations.
The role involves Java development, software architecture, testing, RESTful API integration, and industrial communication protocols.
Responsibilities
- Develop new applications, fix bugs, and expand existing application features.
- Perform backend software design and development.
- Build solutions that meet stakeholder requirements and customer expectations.
- Provide timely information across the organization.
- Design and review technical specifications and architecture.
- Design and develop multilayer, cross-platform applications using design patterns.
- Develop and execute manual unit tests and perform unit and integration testing.
- Design and implement RESTful API integrations.
Required Qualifications
- Have commercial experience with Core Java 5 or later.
- Understand object-oriented programming, Java containers, class loaders, data structures, and streams.
- Know SQL, Java concurrency, and the JVM’s limitations and workarounds.
- Understand client-side and server-side architectures.
- Have familiarity with Ant, Maven, and Microsoft development tools.
