Role Overview
Fidelity Canada is seeking a Software Developer, Applied AI to design, build, test, deploy, and support practical, secure, and governed AI solutions.
The role focuses on generative AI, agentic AI, modern software engineering, and reusable Applied AI foundations for multiple business use cases.
The position works with business, technology, architecture, security, privacy, risk, AI governance, and international teams.
Working Arrangement
- The role is fully remote as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement.
- Current work authorization for Canada is required.
What You Will Do
- Translate business problems into AI use cases and technical requirements, build prototypes, and develop successful ideas into production-quality applications, APIs, and services.
- Build reusable Applied AI foundations for model access, RAG, enterprise knowledge, agent orchestration, tool use, evaluation, observability, and deployment.
- Develop scalable cloud-native components using AWS, Snowflake, and Kubernetes, while preserving flexibility across models, frameworks, and vendors.
- Apply agentic engineering practices involving LLMs, APIs, tools, memory, RAG, workflow orchestration, evaluations, guardrails, and observability.
