SOFT SERVICES MANAGER

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage soft service delivery across multiple Qatar Foundation facilities.
• Ensure contractual SLA, KPI, quality, and client requirement compliance.
• Lead supervisors, team leaders, and a large multinational frontline workforce.
• Develop service delivery plans, inspection programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor housekeeping, cleaning, pest control, waste management, landscaping, reception, and related services.
• Manage budgets, manpower costs, consumables, equipment, suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.
• Prepare operational reports, KPI dashboards, and performance reviews for management and the client.
• Conduct site inspections, implement corrective actions, and manage HSE and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, welfare, and staff retention.
• Use CAFM/TFM systems for work orders, attendance, inventory, reporting, and performance tracking.
• Support sustainability initiatives and develop contingency plans for emergencies, events, and high-profile visits.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of Total Facility Management experience focused on Soft Services.
• At least 5 years in a managerial or senior management position.
• Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams, preferably 50 or more employees.
• Experience in large-scale facilities such as educational campuses, healthcare facilities, airports, or mixed-use developments.
• Experience managing large-value service contracts and operational budgets.
• Qatar or GCC experience is highly preferred.
• A master's degree or professional FM certification is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Soft Services and Total Facility Management.
• Proficiency in CAFM/TFM systems such as IBM Maximo, Planon, ARCHIBUS, FSI, or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Knowledge of HSE, quality management, risk assessment, and compliance requirements.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost-control, and reporting skills.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a culturally diverse workforce.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
