Job Purpose

To be responsible for the day to day supervision of cleaning programs for the designated towers through effective inspections and resource management.

Qualification , Experience , knowledge, skill, traits:

Qualification

Technical qualification, Diploma with certifications in HSE, Fire fighting etc preferred.

Basic courses in housekeeping and building maintenance from relevant institutes will be advantage.

Experience

4-5 years relevant Building Services and Housekeeping with frontline customer services experience preferred

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of proper cleaning standards.( BICSc )
  • Knowledge of English language in both spoken and written form.
  • IT knowledge a must for technical reports and documentation.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
  • PR skills essential for effective site management and execution of works.
  • Good verbal communication/interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the Health, Safety and Welfare Regulations

  • Establish and maintain rapport with clients/users, and provide advisory role.
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and delegate
  • Ability to ensure that the highest standards of quality and customer care are achieved
  • Comprehensive knowledge of facilities under his care and full knowledge of required maintenance and duration of works scope

Job Challenge(S)

Should be very flexible with working hours, will need quick decisions and fast actions, support operations

Principal Accountabilities

  • Submit the housekeeping accomplishment report, quality performance evaluation and equipments and supplies inventory and requisition to Supervisor/Team Leader every month.
  • Conduct daily coordination meeting with cleaners
  • Inspects the entire facility everyday
  • Supervises the project team and prepares the project calendar and submit the same to Supervisor/Team Leader every month.
  • Assures the conduct of trainings to cleaners at a minimum of 8 hours per year
  • Assist the Supervisor/ Team Leader in the conduct of recognition programs for the housekeeping team
  • Keeps the area of responsibility clean, safe and orderly.
  • Ensure comfort rooms, toilets/urinals, sinks and fixtures are clean and disinfected.
  • Ensure offices, hallways, lobbies, stairs and other common areas assigned are clean
  • Reduce cost and zero accident for the housekeeping staff
  • Meet customer satisfaction at all times

Context

Operating environment

Site oriented.

Frequent face to face meeting with Clients and other service providers etc will be required.

Performing job functions will involve physical demands and exposure to extreme climatic conditions, or unsafe construction situations

Framework and Boundaries

Should use authority and make decisions pertaining to the Zone supervision operations
