  • The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that strengthen brand presence, engage audiences, and support business objectives.

Accountabilities

  • Social Media Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with business and marketing objectives.
  • Content Creation & Management: Create, edit, and publish engaging content including posts, stories, videos, graphics, and campaigns.
  • Community Management: Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Campaign Execution: Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns, promotions, launches, and events.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key social media performance metrics.
  • Brand Reputation & Compliance: Ensure all social media activities comply with company policies, brand guidelines, and applicable regulations.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with marketing, communications, commercial, customer engagement, operations, and other departments.

Qualifications and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Content Marketing are an advantage.
  • 2 4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, or a related role.
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube.
  • Experience developing and executing social media campaigns that drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong content creation, copywriting, and storytelling abilities.
