- Create and maintain social media content calendars across all relevant platforms
- Plan, create, publish, and optimize content across all social media platforms
- Manage day to day social media activities and content schedules
- Drive brand awareness, audience growth, and engagement
- Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and best practices
- Create, edit, and publish engaging content including posts, stories, videos, graphics, and campaigns
- Ensure all content reflects the organization's brand identity, tone of voice, and messaging guidelines
- Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers, and content creators
- Adapt content for different social media platforms and audience segments
- Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries
- Foster positive relationships with followers, customers, and online communities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, Business Administration, or related field
- 2 4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, or related role
- Proven experience managing social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube
- Experience developing and executing social media campaigns
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong content creation, copywriting, and storytelling abilities

Purpose
- The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that strengthen brand presence, engage audiences, and support business objectives.
- The role focuses on creating impactful content, managing online communities, monitoring trends, and analyzing performance to continuously improve digital engagement.
- The Social Media Specialist works closely with marketing, communications, customer engagement, and design teams to ensure a consistent brand voice and create meaningful connections with the audience.

Qualifications and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Relevant professional certifications in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Content Marketing are an advantage.
- 2 4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, or a related role.
- Proven experience managing social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube.
- Experience developing and executing social media campaigns that drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices.
