Role Overview
- A Social Media Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring social media marketing efforts to promote products/services, increase brand visibility, and engage with the online community.
- Acts as a brand ambassador to raise brand awareness, build positive associations, and drive sales.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with objectives and target audience.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and stay updated on industry trends.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content for various platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest).
- Use a content calendar to plan and organize posts.
- Build and maintain an active online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Encourage user generated content and interact with followers.
- Monitor social media channels for potential issues or negative comments.
- Develop and implement crisis management strategies.
- Use analytics tools to monitor campaign performance and generate reports on KPIs.
- Stay updated on trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Identify and collaborate with influencers and partners; negotiate partnerships and track performance.
