Minimalist.ae is a Dubai-founded local brand that designs and manufactures watches, jewelry, handbags, perfumes, and leather goods.
The company has four UAE stores and focuses on simple, sophisticated designs and quality materials.
The Role
The Social Media Manager owns the brand’s complete social media delivery and presence.
The role covers strategic and operational work from ideation and conceptualization through implementation.
The position is based at the company headquarters in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Plan annual, biannual, and quarterly multi-channel content calendars, social media strategies, and campaigns focused on acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Implement, measure, and optimize social media strategies and campaigns.
- Translate design concepts into appropriate content.
- Manage content calendars, organize assets in a library, manage hashtags, and identify promotional opportunities.
- Write social media content and email blasts.
- Plan, send, measure, and optimize email blasts.
- Research competitors, markets, and industries to identify best practices, trends, and channels.
Requirements
- At least 5 years, preferably 7 years, of managerial digital marketing experience is sought.
- Experience in a UAE-based eCommerce startup or luxury goods, fashion, or watches company is sought.
- Understanding of Emirati culture and personality is required.
- Hands-on experience with Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and advertising is required.
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo, G Suite, and relevant social media software is required.
- Graphic design software experience, such as Adobe Suite, is preferred.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Outstanding verbal and written English communication is required.
- Arabic communication skills are a significant advantage.
