Responsibilities
- Capture and edit short and long form video content for all social media channels
- Write captions and scripts for social media posts
- Ensure daily content goals are met and content is posted quickly and accurately
- Discover new openings, trending F&B content, and stay updated on new attractions in Abu Dhabi
- Monitor user behaviours and algorithm changes to inform future planning
- Plan, keep and execute a social media calendar
- Provide weekly reports on performance and refine approaches
- Stay up to date with happenings in Abu Dhabi and social media trends
Requirements
- 2 3 years of experience in media or similar field
- Proficiency in shooting and editing video on smartphones
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent grasp of social media trends and best practices
- Ability to self supervise and meet deadlines
- Fluent in spoken English

Key Responsibilities

- Regularly monitor user behaviours and algorithm changes, and use those learnings to inform future planning
- Plan, keep and execute a social media calendar
- Provide weekly reports on performance, regularly analysing and refining approaches for best results
- Stay up to date with happenings in Abu Dhabi, social media trends, features, and best practices
What we’re looking for in a candidate
- Confidence going out and about, shooting and editing videos on smartphones to create killer social content
- Someone with 2 3 years of experience in the media field or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ambitious and a natural optimist
- Driven by the opportunity to have new experiences and learn new skills
- Superb organisational and communication skills
- Excellent grasp of social trends and best practices
- Ability to think outside the box when developing content ideas
- Experience across a wide range of social media platforms and reporting
- Ability to self supervise and meet deadlines
- Attend events during out of office hours
- Languages: Fluent in spoken English, Arabic a plus
