Position Overview
Medpace is hiring a full-time SOC Analyst for its Information Security team.
The team protects digital infrastructure by designing, implementing, and improving cybersecurity architecture.
The role protects infrastructure, cloud, edge devices, and data from unauthorized use, modification, exfiltration, or damage.
Responsibilities
- Engineer security solutions independently while collaborating with internal departments and vendors.
- Analyze security systems and seek continuous improvements.
- Research vulnerabilities, perform vulnerability scanning, and mitigate threats.
- Mature internal security best practices and policies.
- Develop processes, cross-train coworkers, and assist employees with security-related matters.
- Provide security awareness training and testing for employees.
- Perform incident triage, review logs, and conduct remediation activities.
- Reduce inappropriate or overprovisioned access to support least-privilege access.
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree, preferably in Cybersecurity or Information Technology.
- Prior internship or co-op experience within Information Security.
