Role Overview
The role is a Senior Sales Manager or Sales Manager in Direct Marketing for the Life Insurance business.
The position reports to an Area or Regional Sales Manager and manages a direct sales team of approximately five to seven people.
Candidate Experience
- Four to six years of experience in bancassurance sales, life insurance, or open-market sales.
- Hands-on experience generating business through partnerships, self-sourcing, or referrals.
- Strong understanding of customer profiles and insurance lead-generation methods.
- Presentability, communication skills, basic mathematics, and confidence are expected.
Sales and Acquisition
- Drive fresh life-insurance customer acquisition through campaigns.
- Acquire new customers through partnerships and referrals.
- Generate leads through referrals, branch walk-ins, and customer data mining.
- Achieve sales targets related to premium and new business.
Team Management
- Allocate leads to team members according to assigned targets.
- Monitor and review performance against topline and health parameters.
