Role Description

The Sleeving Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah.

The role operates sleeving machinery to apply sleeves or labels according to production specifications and quality standards.

Daily Responsibilities

Set up and adjust machines, monitor production runs, and ensure proper sleeve alignment and application.
Inspect products for defects, perform basic equipment checks, and record production data.
Follow safety procedures, maintain workplace cleanliness, and coordinate with supervisors and coworkers to meet daily targets.
Support continuous workflow and collaborate with the production team.

Qualifications

Experience operating production or packaging machinery, preferably sleeving or labeling equipment, and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Basic mechanical aptitude for minor adjustments, simple troubleshooting, and routine equipment checks.
Attention to detail for accurate sleeve placement, quality inspection, and identification of defects.
Awareness of workplace safety practices, including safe machine operation and personal protective equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, stand for extended periods, and meet daily production targets.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors and follow written and verbal instructions.
Previous manufacturing or packaging operations experience is preferred.
Related vocational or technical training is an advantage.
Willingness to work shifts if required, demonstrate reliability, and maintain a professional and cooperative attitude.
