Role summary
The role champions reliability, performance, and efficiency across the engineering organization.
The engineer applies software engineering principles to system administration and helps maintain highly available, secure, and compliant platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Define, measure, and manage SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code.
- Automate provisioning, scaling, failover, and deployment processes.
- Lead incident management, participate in on-call rotations, and conduct blameless post-mortems.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using observability tools.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines with development teams.
- Implement security practices and support compliance with KSA regulations, including SAMA, NCA, and PDPL requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster reliability and operational excellence.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles, including at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
- Deep hands-on experience with major cloud providers, preferably AWS or GCP.
- Strong proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, Java, or another suitable language.
