Role Overview
Lead Soar’s business intelligence and analytics function while remaining directly involved in building models, dashboards, and analysis.
Work with business leaders to turn questions into trusted metrics, analytical products, and decisions across UX, credit, collections, investment, and operations.
Own the semantic layer, business definitions, and analytics products; architecture owns ingestion and data contracts, while AI owns agent tooling and orchestration.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the BI and analytics roadmap and personally deliver critical work from business question through modeling, analysis, and adoption.
- Build event taxonomies, entity models, and metric definitions on Snowflake using dbt or an equivalent transformation layer.
- Develop decision-ready analysis, executive reporting, departmental dashboards, KPIs, and a business glossary.
- Make AI analytics trustworthy through curated semantic models, golden-question evaluations, SQL review, and accuracy investigations.
- Build customer journey, sessionization, funnel, and cohort models across product and lending workflows.
- Implement governance controls including PII masking, row access, department-scoped access, and auditability.
- Improve source data quality and establish testing, documentation, version control, and review practices.
