Site Reliability Engineer - Linux

Experience operating at scale, meaning you have managed or administered a service or fleet spanning hundreds of nodes or more (not limited to managing a single cluster or a handful of servers)

Hands-on administration experience with at least one open-source datastore

Strong Linux administration skills

Proficiency in Linux/Bash scripting, plus at least one general-purpose programming language (Golang or Python preferred), with the ability to work in other languages as needed

Real, hands-on Linux experience in either on-premise or EC2 environments

Experience with telemetry or observability tooling

Experience with performance testing and load testing

Experience performing major version upgrades on Linux systems

Experience standing up a large-scale service used broadly within a company, or experience building and operating REST APIs or other always-on services
