Role Overview
Lead individual site projects involving EHV AIS/GIS substation extensions, refurbishment, and greenfield delivery.
The role covers installation, commissioning, handover, customer support, commercial control, and project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Supervise installation, commissioning, and handover of AIS/GIS extension projects.
- Provide customer recommendations based on the customer’s business and operational environment.
- Ensure contract conditions, project timelines, milestones, quality, and budget targets are met.
- Manage contract variations and change management.
- Monitor and negotiate requirements and fulfilment conditions with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Negotiate and agree contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage risks and claims using technical and commercial mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project status and report against project targets.
- Travel occasionally for factory acceptance testing and customer factory visits.
- Ensure compliance with environment, health, and safety requirements and the Zero Harm policy.
What You Bring
- Degree or diploma in electrical engineering.
- Practical field experience with high-voltage or medium-voltage substations.
