- Develop, modify and review production drawings and construction documents
- Correct and update design documents
- Serve as an architectural resource for the Design department
- Provide resolution for technical engineering problems within assigned discipline
- Advise project manager of technical aspects affecting construction progress and quality
- Monitor interior architectural works for conformance with contract documents
- Review and process all shop drawings and architectural technical submittals
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup or 3D MAX, Photoshop, MS project or Primavera
- Good knowledge of building codes
- Experience in site inspection and construction supervision
- Strong technical knowledge to resolve design issues on site

What You'll Do
- Lead the coordination process with other disciplines
- Assist the Resident Engineer in performing the contractual duties on site
- Processing of contract documents & assist contract administration
- Develops, modifies and reviews production drawings and construction documents
- Corrects and updates design documents
- Serves as an architectural resource for the Design department
- Provides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline(s)
- Advise the project manager of any technical aspects of the architectural works that may affect construction progress, quality and the like
- Hands on in monitoring the interior architectural works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual
- Reviewing, and processing all shop drawings and architectural technical submittals
- Answering RFIs related to interior and architecture
- Review construction submittals from project inception to close out
Additional Responsibilities
- Review Contractor's installation method statements
- Review Contractor's shop drawings against the design [tender] drawings for compliance with the design intent
- Review Contractor's material proposals against specified technical performance requirements
- Review Contractor's proposed sub contractor(s) associated with the engineering works from a technical standpoint
- Monitors procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedule
- Undertake general project site observation / inspection of the works for Contractor's adherence to approved shop drawings and Consultant's specification
- Lead the snagging and de snagging process with an aim to progress the works to completion
- Attend project, site progress and any related technical meetings as directed by the project manager
- Prepare draft site / engineer's instructions, relating to the project, as required and issue to the Project Manager
- Provide advice to the Project Manager in regard to any variation costs that may be claimed by the Contractor
- Oversee architects and inspectors for all architectural work and ensure that installation activities comply with contractual obligations and quality control standards
- Ensures that the project quality control procedures are used for the construction supervision works and monitors it for improvement
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Architecture or related field
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to resolve design issues on site
- Computer proficiency is required; Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup or 3D MAX, Photoshop, MS project or Primavera, Power Point and basic office suite
- Good knowledge of the building codes
