Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design process across building and property projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants to deliver high quality, timely outputs
- Oversee design reviews, approvals, and compliance with local authority requirements (e.g., ADM, ADWEA)
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and change control processes
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including clients, contractors, and government entities
- Support pre contract and post contract phases, including technical evaluations and tender documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design management for buildings and property developments, preferably in UAE or GCC
- Proven track record in managing design for high rise, mixed use, commercial, or institutional buildings
- Strong understanding of local authority processes and permitting requirements
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills

About the Role
- GHD is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager – Design Management to join our Abu Dhabi team, leading the design delivery of complex projects within the Buildings & Property sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design process across building and property projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants to deliver high quality, timely outputs.
- Oversee design reviews, approvals, and compliance with local authority requirements (e.g., ADM, ADWEA).

Qualifications & Experience
