Site Engineers

The Daracon Group is comprised of multiple businesses that collectively provide an effective and integrated civil construction service to a wide cross section of public and private clients. A rare opportunity exists for an experienced and highly motivated Site Engineer to join our Hunter Civil Team on a permanent basis. This role will initially be working on one of our key projects in the Hunter Valley area, however following completion of this project the on-going works will be in and around the Newcastle and surrounding areas. Ideally you would live in the local area, however we would be open to considering applicants from further afield. This is an exciting and diverse project which will give excellent opportunities for the right candidate to progress and advance their skills within a very supportive team.

Liaise with Project Engineers and Managers to ensure jobs are on schedule on site

Monitoring key construction requirements to ensure they are achieved in line with specifications

Implementation of prompt and safe corrective action on site if required

Ensuring that the quality requirements of the client are adhered to and that project procedures are followed

Maintaining all relevant project document control and records as well as assessment of risks and hazards involved in tasks, and methods to manage the hazards in order to prevent incidents, injury and damage
