Role Overview
Site Engineer role focused on road construction inspection, drainage design, site investigation, reporting, and project coordination.
The engineer will lead work inspectors in the discipline and support the Resident Engineer on technical reviews.
Responsibilities
- Lead work inspectors and ensure construction activities comply with contracts and specifications.
- Perform rainfall analysis, flow estimation, culvert design, ditch design, subsurface drainage, stormwater network, and soakaway design.
- Prepare accurate reports on task requirements, strategies, and inspections.
- Inspect road sites and conduct necessary investigations.
- Assist and supervise design finalization and its incorporation into projects.
- Estimate project resources and equipment.
- Assign team tasks and oversee performance.
- Coordinate with staff on multidisciplinary projects.
- Assist the Resident Engineer with shop drawing, design proposal, and method statement reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Ten years of Site Engineer or Road Engineer experience is required.
- MMUP certification or license is required.
