About the Role

Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor installation of firefighting and plumbing systems as per approved shop drawings, project specifications, and UAE authority requirements
- Manage daily site activities including manpower allocation, work sequencing, and progress monitoring
- Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submittals prior to execution
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and other disciplines to resolve site coordination issues
- Supervise installation of sprinkler systems, hose reels, pumps, water supply, drainage, sewage, storm water, and associated piping systems
- Ensure all works comply with DCD, Dubai Municipality, DEWA, project specifications, and applicable standards such as NFPA and BS standards
- Verify delivered materials against approved submittals and specifications
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections, testing, and consultant approvals
- Prepare Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), and progress reports
- Supervise testing and commissioning activities including hydrostatic testing, flushing, and functional testing
- Identify design and constructability issues and raise RFIs when required
- Monitor site productivity and ensure activities are completed within planned schedules
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
- 4 to 6 years of experience in mechanical site execution for commercial, residential, industrial, or mixed use projects
- GCC / UAE site experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems installation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing mechanical drawings
- UAE Society of Engineers (SOE) Membership
- UAE driving license (preferred)

Registrations / Certifications
- UAE Society of Engineers (SOE) Membership.
- Basic HSE training certification (advantage).
- Awareness of ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures (preferable).
- UAE driving license (preferred).
