About the Lake Macdonald Dam Improvement Project: The Lake Macdonald Dam is located in the Noosa hinterland and is part of the South East Queensland drinking water supply operated by Seqwater. John Holland has been awarded the Contract to undertake the largest upgrade to the dam since its installation in 1965 as part of the Seqwater Dam Improvement Project. The upgrade will include but not be limited to: Pre-construction Approvals, Procurement and Site Establishment Lake Lowering and Aquatic Salvage Installation of Upstream Coffer Dam Cofferdam, Spillway Demolition and Working Platform Dam Construction Reinstatement, Rehabilitation and Demobilisation As construction of LMDIP (Lake Macdonald Dam Improvement Project) gets under way, John Holland is actively recruiting for a Site Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this iconic Noosa hinterland project. To be successful in this key role, you must have: Degree qualified Civil Engineer with at least 12 months post qualification experience Understanding contemporary practices in construction methodology on civil infrastructure projects Confident communicator Passion for teamwork and delivering on tight deadlines Excellent time management and prioritisation Understanding of HSEQ management systems, compliance and reporting procedures As part of the team, you help us deliver on our promise to transform lives.
