Job Overview
The Site Engineer - HVAC plans, supervises, and executes HVAC installation activities for a data centre project.
The role covers chillers, CRAH and CRAC units, chilled water piping, ducting, ventilation, precision cooling, pumps, insulation, and associated controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver HVAC works efficiently.
- Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical specifications.
- Monitor site progress, productivity, resource utilization, project schedules, and construction quality.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues affecting HVAC installation.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain project execution records.
- Coordinate testing, balancing, commissioning, and project handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with approved construction methods, HSE requirements, quality standards, and contract requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant HVAC construction experience are required.
- Experience in data centre, mission critical, industrial, commercial, or high-rise building projects is preferred.
