Site Engineer (Fire Protection System)

Job Summary

Site Engineering and Customer Engagement

• Supervise onsite installation, commissioning, and maintenance of sprinklers, fire alarms, suppression systems, hydrants, and pumps.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams to deliver solutions according to project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and system validations under applicable codes and safety regulations.
• Support installation teams onsite, resolve technical issues, and develop compliant solutions for site challenges.
• Deliver client presentations and demonstrations covering fire protection features, benefits, and compliance.
• Maintain test reports, progress updates, and compliance records for authority submissions.
• Recommend additional services and upgrades that meet client needs and support sales growth.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and with professional integrity.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated selling skills and ability to build trust across a diverse client base.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, equipment, NFPA, BS, EN, and local regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear and persuasive technical communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
• Ability to prepare site reports, technical proposals, and clear documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related technical field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience with fire protection systems in a site-based, engineering, or technical sales role is required.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites are required.
