The company is seeking a Site Engineer to manage site works efficiently and support delivery to schedule and quality standards.

Role Overview

The Site Engineer leads on-site construction and fit-out processes and ensures projects are executed according to required standards.

The role coordinates site activities, craftsmen, subcontractors, inspections, materials, documentation, and technical issues.

  • The role involves on-site work in Dubai.
  • The position includes daily site supervision, inspections, and coordination with project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage on-site activities and oversee construction and fit-out phases.
  • Uphold quality standards and monitor craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate schedules, monitor progress, and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Solve on-site challenges and collaborate with the Project Manager and Design Team.
  • Supervise subcontractors and coordinate inspections, material control, and progress monitoring.
  • Create RFIs, MIRs, WIRs, method statements, snagging records, variations, and as-built documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Six to eight years of total experience, including two to three years in interior fit-out.
  • At least two completed medium-size fit-out projects.
  • Technical knowledge of architectural finishes, ceilings, partitions, flooring, joinery, MEP coordination, and interfaces.
  • Ability to read and coordinate architectural, interior design, structural, and MEP drawings.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; MS Project or Primavera knowledge is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and team-management skills.
  • Ability to attend inspections, close comments, and coordinate technical and site issues.
  • Basic understanding of local authority and Civil Defence requirements where applicable.
