Role Overview

The role is a Fit-Out Site Engineer position for interior fit-out and construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

The engineer will manage site activities, coordinate project parties, and support quality, safety, schedule, and completion requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3–5 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out or construction projects is required.
  • Valid Abu Dhabi DMT/Municipality engineering registration is mandatory.
  • Relevant G+2 accreditation or approval is mandatory.
  • Candidates must state their registration status, engineering category, and G+2 accreditation or approval level in their CV.

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of fit-out construction methods, materials, and site execution is required.
  • Experience with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers is required.
  • Candidates must be able to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is required.
  • UAE driving license is an advantage.
  • Experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, residential, or office fit-out projects in Abu Dhabi is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily fit-out site activities and ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
  • Review shop drawings, technical drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
  • Monitor progress, prepare daily and weekly reports, and support planning and scheduling.
  • Conduct site inspections and maintain quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Coordinate civil, architectural, MEP, ceiling, flooring, joinery, partition, painting, and finishing works.
  • Resolve site issues, check quantities, and support project documentation and variations.
  • Coordinate inspections and approvals and help achieve project milestones and completion dates.
