Civil/Structural EIT Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of structures, buildings, foundations and piles.
• Work ranges from simple foundations and structures to complex structures, and dynamic considerations are frequently involved in dealing with vibratory equipment loads and earthquake forces.
• Design and analysis of roads and drainage.
• Coordination of Civil/Structural project components over the life of the project.
• Responsible for Civil/Structural engineering aspects on any given project.
• Involved in the total project early in career development; from preliminary site feasibility studies and basic design criteria through the actual design and construction of site layout, foundations, structures and buildings.

Basic Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Piping, or a related Engineering discipline, with an expected graduation date in 2026 or 2027.
• A Structural minor with courses in structural (concrete and steel) design.
• Geotechnical and civil courses are an asset.
• Field and design experience is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Fluor's projects are organized into task forces that operate as a team. Successful candidates will be working closely with other employees and efficient written and oral communication skills are essential to the job.
