Overview
- **Job Costing & Budgeting:** Create, maintain, and monitor project budgets, allocating costs (materials, labor, equipment) to specific job codes to identify overruns.
- **Financial Reporting & Analysis:** Prepare monthly financial statements, project status reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- **Contractor & Supplier Payments:** Process subcontractor payments, review lien waivers, and verify invoices against completed work.
- **Compliance & Tax:** Ensure compliance with labor laws, subcontractor payments, and local tax regulations (e.g., VAT in the UAE).
- **Project Control:** Monitor contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and monitor daily site manpower reports
Required Skills And Qualifications
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- **Experience:** 2–3+ years of accounting experience specifically within a construction or contracting company.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP) and strong Excel skills.
