Role Overview
Provide CAE support for product development and application simulation teams.
Run finite element analyses in structural mechanics and dynamics and assess structural lifetimes from simulation results.
Support turbocharger product development programs.
Major Job Responsibilities
- Perform finite element analysis in structural mechanics and dynamics.
- Conduct lifetime assessments based on simulation results and engineering guidelines.
- Support turbocharger product development programs.
- Collaborate with material development, testing, and external partner teams to validate simulation methods.
Work Experience and Skills
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in automotive or industrial simulation and mechanical development.
- Expert skill in Abaqus and HyperWorks CAE software.
- Expert knowledge of mechanics of solid structures, dynamics, and fatigue.
- Experience using engineering guidelines for lifetime assessment, such as FKM and VDI2230.
- Excellent English communication skills.
