About the Role
The company is seeking a skilled SIEM Administrator to design, deploy, and maintain its SIEM platform.
The role supports log management and threat detection infrastructure by onboarding log sources, building custom rules, and maintaining security operations tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, patch, and upgrade the SIEM platform and associated agents.
- Collaborate with business units to map network hierarchies, establish building blocks, and classify log sources.
- Build custom API connectors and parsers for non-standard log sources lacking vendor support.
- Develop threat detection use cases, custom SIEM rules, and MITRE ATT&CK modeling.
- Troubleshoot log sources, collectors, agents, and other SOC tools.
- Manage archiving, backups, retention, purging, and data restoration in line with compliance standards.
- Manage change tickets and prepare assessment reports for existing platforms.
