Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain clean bus interiors, fuel buses, and log trip counts.
• Attend every scheduled workday on time and in uniform.
• Assist disabled passengers and customers with luggage or other travel items when applicable.
• Answer customer questions and refer customers to the Facility Manager when needed.
• Report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, debris, water, and oil spills.
• Substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized.
• Maintain knowledge of the garage, local streets, landmarks, and freeways.
• Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• A valid state-issued driver’s licence with a current address and an acceptable DMV record is required.
• Less than high school education, one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination is required.
• Employees must be able to read simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and present information effectively.
• Employees must maintain a neat, clean appearance and complete uniform.

Availability

• Shift requirements vary by location and may include third-shift and weekend availability.

Physical requirements

• The role requires standing, walking, handling cash and equipment, occasional sitting, climbing or balancing, and occasional lifting or moving of up to 75 pounds.

Compensation

• The salary range is $19.00–$21.00 per hour.
