Shopify Operations Manager

About the Role

Schedule

• The stated working schedule is six days per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Shopify store operations and monitor sales, orders, and store performance.
• Coordinate with warehouse, courier, and delivery partners for timely dispatches and resolve shipment issues.
• Track returns, RTOs, exchanges, and other operational exceptions.
• Maintain product listings, inventory, pricing, and promotional campaigns on Shopify.
• Monitor dashboards, identify trends, and share actionable insights.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Handle customer queries through WhatsApp, email, and phone.
• Coordinate with marketing on campaigns, launches, and promotions.
• Improve processes to increase efficiency and customer experience.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a D2C or ecommerce startup.
• Hands-on experience managing a Shopify store.
• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel.
• Comfort working with data, reports, and dashboards.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and external partners.
• Strong organization, ownership, accountability, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with courier aggregators such as Shiprocket, Porter, Pickrr, or similar platforms is a bonus.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics or ecommerce reporting tools is a bonus.
• Experience managing inventory and order fulfillment is a bonus.

Compensation

• Pay starts at ₹15,318.88 per month.

Work Location

• The work location is in person.
