About the Role
Ariana Shipping Line LLC seeks a Shipping Operations Executive to manage international import and export cargo operations in Dubai. The role involves coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, and liaising with agents, carriers, and customs brokers.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate end to end import and export shipping operations.
- Arrange cargo bookings with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and overseas agents.
- Monitor vessel schedules and shipment milestones to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare, review, and process shipping documentation, including Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Delivery Order, Certificate of Origin, Shipping Instructions, and customs documents.
- Coordinate customs clearance with brokers and relevant authorities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Customs regulations and international shipping requirements.
- Liaise with overseas agents, suppliers, transport companies, warehouses, and customers regarding shipment status and documentation.
- Track shipments from origin to final destination and provide timely updates to customers.
- Coordinate container loading, unloading, and inland transportation when required.
- Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and operational issues efficiently.
- Verify freight charges, supplier invoices, and operational expenses.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal logistics or ERP systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, import/export operations, or logistics
- Experience handling ocean freight shipments is preferred
- Knowledge of UAE Customs procedures and international trade documentation is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of import and export shipping procedures
- Understanding of Incoterms and international trade practices
- Familiarity with customs clearance and shipping documentation
- Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Customer focused with excellent problem solving skills
