Role Overview

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily shipping and logistics activities.
  • Prepare shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and related records.
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers, warehouses, and customers.
  • Track shipments and provide delivery-status updates.
  • Monitor schedules, collection dates, and delivery timelines.
  • Assist with bookings and transportation arrangements.
  • Verify shipment information, quantities, destinations, and documentation.
  • Follow up on delayed, damaged, or incomplete shipments and escalate issues.
  • Maintain shipping records and update logistics systems.
  • Assist with import/export documentation and customs coordination.
  • Prepare shipping reports and support inventory, warehouse, procurement, and supply chain teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency and reduce operational delays.

Qualifications

  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Transportation, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous shipping, logistics, freight, warehouse, or operations experience is advantageous.
  • Candidates should understand shipping and logistics processes.
  • Strong organization, coordination, communication, problem-solving, and documentation accuracy are expected.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ERP, logistics, or shipment-tracking systems is a plus.
  • Candidates should manage multiple shipments and deadlines and work independently and collaboratively.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn are expected.
