Role Overview
Peach Solutions is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Shipping Operations Assistant / Specialist.
The role supports daily shipping activities, shipment coordination, documentation, and logistics operations.
The position focuses on accurate processing, efficient monitoring, and delivery according to operational requirements and agreed timelines.
Responsibilities
- Support shipping operations, shipment processing, scheduling, and coordination.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and related records.
- Monitor shipment status, delivery schedules, tracking information, and transportation milestones.
- Identify delays, documentation issues, discrepancies, and operational risks, and coordinate resolutions.
- Communicate shipment requirements and updates with customers, suppliers, carriers, customs partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Update shipment and tracking records in ERP, TMS, or other logistics systems.
- Assist with freight cost tracking, invoice verification, shipment charges, and basic logistics cost analysis.
- Follow up on pickups, deliveries, customs documentation, and pending shipping activities.
